Unhappy Why do we harm Dogs!

Ok last night i was baby sitting 6 of my lil cuzons and it was all gd mashallah
cuz inshallah by doin dat am learin 2 become a father figure inshalalh ..and my lil cuzon which is 7 yrs old ..she asked me
"why do people beat dogs"and i was there thinking like nah'mean..but i know where shes coming from..she went back home like 2weeks ago and came bk mashallah...she saw people stoning dogs and hitting them...Am thinkin 2 myself why do we do such tingz?
i know that WE as Muslim are not allowed 2 have Dogs up in our house, But still
Allah{swt} DIDNT SAY "YOU GO OUT THERE AND BEAT THAT DIRTY DOG" right?
so all am saying is Islam is the religion of mercy towards the creations and obedience towards the Creator. Let us practise it fully.

Have you any of you seen diz happen b4?

Thank you 4 takin da time!

Saying of Prophet Muhammad saw:
"Are there rewards for doing good to quadrupeds, and givng them water to drink?" Muhammad said, "Verily there are heavenly rewards for any act of kindness to a live animal."

'A good deed done to a beast is as good as doing good to a human being; while an act of cruelty to a beast is as bad as an act of cruelty to human beings' and that: 'Kindness to animals was promised by rewards in Life Hereafter.' (Mishkat al-Masabih; Book 6; Chapter 7, 8:178.)

I've seen people that mess with dogs all the time.

The Prophet (sallahu alayhi wa salam) said : “A woman was punished for a cat which she imprisoned until it died, and she entered Hell because of that. She did not feed it or give it water when she imprisoned it, and she did not leave it free to eat of the vermin of the earth.”

[al-Bukhaari, 2236; Muslim, 2242]

Jareer (radiallahu anhu) said: I heard the Prophet (sallahu alayhi wa salam) say: “Whoever is deprived of kindness is deprived of goodness.”

[Muslim (2592)]

I never seen a grown up man/woman beating up a dog, but I have seen kids running after dogs and stoning them.
