back to the question Munique05 when Allah describes the jannah he uses words that humans undertands but in reality its not anything we (humans) seen or heard of or thought of..and to proof this check what Allah says in surat Al-baqarah (the cow) verse 25..please since you're so good at googling copy/paste this verse for me.

Allah uses the colour green in other verses for diffrenet reasons too (not only describing heaven) like in surat yaseen (surah 36 verse 80) when allah talks about how green trees become fire) go ahead and google if you dont believe me

samething with surah 56 verse 71 and 72 (again talking about fire and trees)
keep one thing in mind if Allah says anything about describing jannah its not the same thing as we (humans) know it on earth
its two compeletly different things

sorry to say this but the colour green you talking about its not the same colour we know according to that verse matter of fact nothing in jannah is as same something on earth
