Iran encourage Somali intellectuals to solve their problems.

Mogadishu, Somalia (HOL) - Iran called upon Somali intellectuals to solve their country’s long-standing problems.

Iran’s foreign Minister Mr. Manouchehr Mottaki said that if Somali intellectuals make an effort to solve the country’s problems then his country will offer assistance in solving Somalia’s problems.

As reported from the Head of Communications of Iran’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Minister made the statements after a meeting with Somalia’s Ambassador to Iran Mr. Abdirahman Abdi Husein (aka Abdirahman Gulwade).


The Foreign Affairs Minister added that the problems in Somalia are related to the abundant natural resources Somalia is endowed with which attract the attention of many powers and that his country would help in the resolution of Somalia’s problems.

On his part, Somalia’s Ambassador to Iran Mr. Abdirahman Abdi Husein thanked Iran for pledging to support the resolution of Somalia’s problems. The Ambassador also briefed the Minister about the current situation in Somalia and at the end handed the Minister his Ambassadorial credentials.

Iran is strong and it will only get even stronger sorry to say this but in the Muslim world they are the only one who's respected the rest are all weaklings and xasiidin who can't even help their own Palestine. Irani's unlike the Arabs then to be educated and very helpful people and they are right Somali's need to start helping Somali first then maybe others will come.

Somalia's problem will never be resolved when you have ex-warlords turned legalised murderous desperate for power by any means. The only solution to this self inflicted wound is to recognize somaliland, ogadenia and puntland. Let puntland kill them selves from their dusty barren land.

We can solve our problems (the six month period in 2006 proved that) but we've got the likes of America and Ethiopia butting in, simply because they won't allow Somalia to be a Muslim run country, by that I mean following the shariah.

In my honest opinion i believe that darood warlords are the our real problem they truly believe only darood whether mj or marixaar can run somalia forsaking all others. I think this is the mentality that has lead to the disaster of a eighteen year civil war. There are plenty of criminal warlords in every clan that have contributed and our problem is that we constantly blame the other instead of look at our own selves. Once we recognize that we have a problem then we can work to fix it.

On Iran, it's interesting they've chosen to back the government because the last time I heard they were supporting the UIC.
