Maybe you are confusing two things. Believing that there is truth the acclaimed origin of (those who claim to be) Isaaq (whom never existed), and being Somalilander (of which doesn't has to be Isaaq). You have to have in mind, as well, that they are not alone for claiming to have an imaginary origin, but they claim that there one was specail because he was miraculously flying when he landed in Maaydh.
