somaliland target
Somaliland gained independence from Britain on 26th June 1960. On July the 1st Somaliland was united with Somalia and formed Somali Republic . After over 30 years of inequalities, injustices and oppression, followed by struggle for freedom, Somaliland remerged once again and 1991 declared its independence. Since then, Somaliland has gone through several phases of development including reconciliations among its inhabitants; demobilisation of its militias and integrated to its national forces; strengthening of its government institutions, creation and ratification of its constitution; formation of political parties, holding of several multi-party contested elections (local, presidential and parliamentary); reconstruction of its public services. Despite the significant and outstanding achievements Somaliland is yet to be recognised. No single state has yet come forward to recognise Somaliland. so plz spread the idea behind somaliland and its nessecary that every somalilander must move on, for searcheing recognize from the international community i am requesting from every vistor of this group and also every person become a member to spread the idealogy of somaliland.
