Hands Off Somalia! is a campaign organised to oppose the upcoming discussion of corporate, political and military intervention in Somalia by the British government at their conference on 23 February 2012 (see: http://www.fco.gov.uk/en/news/somalia-conference/)
Join us on Thursday 23 February from 830AM onwards to demonstrate against British plans to carve up an already divided and impoverished Somalia.
Bring your banners, chants, drums, megaphones, horns and whistles as we build up for the main rally at 11AM outside the conference on Cleveland Row.
AFGHANISTAN, IRAQ, and LIBYA were all IMPERIALIST wars designed to further exploit these already oppressed nations.
SOMALIA would be the 47th separate British military operation in the Middle East and North Africa since the end of the Second World War.
