Allaah also Says (what means): "And the word of your Lord has been fulfilled in truth and in justice. None can alter His words, and He is the All-Hearing, the All-Knowing." [Quran 6: 115]

Dominance of the Quran over previous Scriptures
DATE: 05/13/2007 14:10:25 / MOOD: General
Allaah, The Almighty, revealed the Quran to be His last, all-embracing Scripture containing the final manifestation of the Divine Law. This necessitates that it has to be safeguarded from the mischievous hands of men and from all corruption. This protection has been a reality from the time the Quran was revealed until today and will remain so forever. It contains no additions or deletions. It has reached us by so many chains of transmission that it is impossible for them to have conspired on a lie. It has been recorded and memorized innumerable times. There has been no change in its text over time, not even in a single letter. Some of those who have committed it to memory cannot speak Arabic; nevertheless, they recite it exactly as it was revealed. Allaah has guaranteed the preservation of the Quranic text, as He, the Most Exalted, Says (what means): "Indeed, it is We who sent down the Quran and indeed, We will be its guardian." [Quran 15:9]

Al-'Abbaas Ibn 'Abdul-Muttalib
DATE: 05/09/2007 16:13:05 / MOOD: General
Equality and brotherhood of man in Allaah are two of the major principles of the Islamic faith. We read in the Qur'an what may be translated as: "O mankind! Indeed, We have created you from male and female and made you Peoples and tribes that you may know one another. Indeed, the most noble of you in the sight of Allaah is the most righteous of you. Indeed, Allaah is Knowing and Acquainted." [Quran, 49: 13]. Whenever we read the glorious history of Islam we are reminded again and again of these principles, especially that of equality. An interesting illustration of this involved Al-'Abbaas Ibn 'Abdul-Muttalib who was not only a beloved uncle of Prophet Muhammad but also a playmate (since they were only a couple of years apart in age).

To call people to Allaah is the duty of every responsible and conscientious Muslim. Since there is no priesthood in Islam or sacerdotal class among Muslims, the duty of the call to Allaah cannot be limited to an ill-conceived and imaginary group called the 'men of religion as is the case with other religions.' In Islam, everyone is a man (or woman) of religion and everyone will be accountable to Allaah as to whether or not one fulfilled their obligations sincerely and to the best of their abilities.

Da'wah priorities in the Quran -I
DATE: 05/09/2007 16:04:45 / MOOD: General
Da'wah is an Arabic word which comes close to the word "invite" or "invitation" in English. The understanding of the usage of the word "Da'wah" with regard to the faith of Islam is that it is the responsibility of the Muslims to "invite" all humanity to the way of Islam, i.e., submission to the One True God (Allaah Almighty) on His terms. Da'wah is incumbent on all Muslims and must be done in compliance with the methodology already established by the last Prophet of Islam, Muhammad .

Despite obstacles, Islam continues to spread

Since the advent of Islam, as the final and all-compassing Message to mankind up to the moment, its adversaries left no opportunity to thwart it and curb its followers. Right from day one, they did their level best to kill it in the bud using different ways.
