** something for you to ponder upon**

Dear Brother, who dwells in these prisonsTo you I write with distresses,

If to Allāh you hold fastThen what harm will a misfortune of time do to you?

Beware dear Brother, of making your corrupting your thoughtsRegarding the Promise of the Deity, Mighty and Strong,

Verily, He has promised the Believers with SalvationAs He saved Yūnus from the dark depths of the belly of the Fish,

Dear Brother, before you, passed the ancient onesThese prisons are but like those prisons,

Did not Yūsuf dwelled in them for a phaseAnd Mūsā, the tyrants threatened him with it,

And such was the Messenger of the Generous DeityTo imprison him, the pagans plotted,

So my Lord saved him through his HijrahIn the company of that trustworthy friend,

And in their footsteps, the Believers traversedLike Ahmad, that firm Imām,

And likewise Ibn Taymiyyah was blessed with itIn the fortress of Shām, as a prisoner he dwelled,

Hundreds of thousands of the True FaithfulDwelled for a time in these prisons,

Be not weak, dear Brother, nor lose hopeWhen your time comes, nor submit,

Strengthen yourself by remembering the Deity, Most SupremeAnd hasten in memorizing the Manifest Book,

That is for your heart a secure strongholdAnd this is for your spirit an assisting provision,

These are hardships, soon they will all ceaseAnd remaining from it will be various fruits and benefits,

So if they intimidate you, and they threaten youNever weaken, or soften to them,

And even if they insult you, and they torture youAnd if they beat you, submit not,

You are not the first to be torturedFor a Mighty Religion and a Manifest Legislation,

Nor are you alone on this PathFor there are countless caravans throughout the years,

And if an ‘Eid passes by, and a son is bornAnd months rotate, while you are imprisoned,

Do not grieve O Brother of the Righteous OnesOf departing from family and losing children,

And if they forbid you from their visitsAnd likewise their letters never appear,

So if this is for a Lord and ReligionThen where is the patience, where is the certainty!?

And where are your past speechesRegarding the (weight of the) Millah of that Trustworthy Messenger?!

That Intimate Friend went willinglyTo slaughter his son, a clear trial,

On a magnificent, noble day like todayWithout any anxiety, he put him down upon his forehead,

So my Lord saved him through His Good WillAnd ransomed him with a fat sheep,

But you, your sons are in a carefree lifeAnd diversion and amusement, and a secured home,

Yet you have not been asked to slaughter themRather, merely for patience of a temporary separation,

For verily, they are in the care of a Merciful LordAnd you are in solitude with Him and Faith,

For the Pleasure of a Lord and assisting a ReligionLife and all children become insignificant,

For the Pleasure of a Lord, Mighty and GenerousThe prisons come perfumed, and the bitter come sweet…

The First Group to Enter Paradise

Hadith - Sahih Bukhari 4:468, Narrated Abu Huraira

Allah's Apostle said, "The first group (of people) who will enter Paradise will be (glittering) like the moon when it is full. They will not spit or blow their noses or relieve nature.

Their utensils will be of gold and their combs of gold and silver; in their centers the aloe wood will be used, and their sweat will smell like musk. Everyone of them will have two wives; the marrow of the bones of the wives' legs will be seen through the flesh out of excessive beauty.

They (i.e. the people of Paradise) will neither have differences nor hatred amongst themselves; their hearts will be as if one heart and they will be glorifying Allah in the morning and in the evening." Hadith - Sahih Bukhari 4:464, Narrated 'Imran bin Husain

May Allah swt include us amongs those people (amiin)

1. Think of Allah before you take any action. Make dua before everything- sleeping, eating, studying, driving...

2. Read the Qur'an in Arabic and the meaning every day - take the time out of your busy schedule to listen to Allah.

3. Become a serious student of this Deen. Try to make it to the next Islamic class, halaqah or meeting. Shock your friends, bring a notebook.

4. Evaluate yourself daily before going bed. Thank Allah for good deeds, repent to Him for your mistakes and sins.

5. Avoid looking at unlawful pictures, whether they be from television, magazines, or otherwise.

6. Study the history of Islam. Learn of the great scholars and warriors who died with Allah on their lips and Islam in their hearts. Strive to emulate them.

7. Spend some time listening to recitation of the Quran. Find reciters that you like, try Abu Bakr ash-Shatri, al-Ghamdi, as-Sudais, al-Minshawi..

8. Encourage your non-practicing friends to come to Islamic events.

9. Hang out with other Muslims.

10. Talk to your non-Muslim friends about Islam. Have you taken the time to explain the basics to them?

11. Go to at least one convention/conference/camp a year.

12. Perform the sunnah and nawafil salahs as much as possible. Find time to pray extras, such as Salat ad-Duha, Qiyamul-layl, and Tahajjud.

13. Subscribe to a Muslim magazine.

14. Buy Islamic gear instead of the latest Tommy Hil, CK, Nike, or Adidas...15. Take the time to understand what's going on in the Muslim world today. Do your part to get involved and help relief organizations.

16. Try to fast Mondays and Thursdays as of today.

17. Lower your gaze.

18. Start reading Qur'an after Salat-ul Fajr.

19. Go to bed early so that you can wake up far Salat-ul Fajr.

20. Keep yourself in a state of wudu' most of the time.

21. Really listen to speakers. Take their advice to heart, commit yourself to change.

22. Give yourself time alone, so that you can think about your life, your deeds, make dhikr.

23. Start giving sadaqah daily, no matter how little. Make it a habit like eating and drinking.

24. Spend more time reading Islamic books, especially the Seerah, Hadith, and Fiqh.

25. Associate with knowledgeable people, hafidh, qari', and other ulama. You might learn something.

26. Try to learn how to make dawah to non-muslims. It is an art requiring knowledge and diplomacy.

27. Watch as little television as possible. Seriously.

28. Go to the masjid.

29. Don't criticize if you dislike something- do your part to change it.

30. Stand up for right, forbid evil. Just say no to gheebah.

31. Avoid eating too much. Do not eat unless you are hungry and try not to fill your stomach

32. If you like to listen to music, replace them with nasheed, music with islamic lyrics or with Quranic recitation. (some examples: Whisper of Peace, Prayers of the Last Prophet, MYNA raps: the Next Level)

33. Buy Islamic videos, tapes, posters, books, clothes, support your Muslims brothers and sisters and make Islam a part of every aspect of your life.

34. If you meet any new Muslims, buddy up with them and make them feel like a part of your community.

35. Break out of your clique.

36. Keep three extra Qur'an translations and some literature in your home at all times. You never know when you'll find someone interested who wants to know more.

HADITH BY RASUL S.A.W: ONE WHO MISS THE PRAYERS WILL RECEIVE 15 PUNISHMENT FROM ALLAH SWT. 6 PUNISHMENT IN THIS LIFE TIME, 3 WHILE DYING, 3 IN THE GRAVE AND 3 ON THE DAY OF THE JUDGEMENT

6  PUNISHMENTS IN HIS LIFE TIME:

1. ALLAHU TA'ALA TAKES AWAY BLESSING FROM HIS AGE ( MAKES HIS LIFE MISFORTUNE)

2. ALLAH DOES NOT ACCEPT HIS DUAS/ CALAACAL

3. ALLAH SWT ERASES THE FEATURES OF GOOD PEOPLE FROM HIS FACE

4. HE WILL BE DETESTED BY ALL CREATURES ON EARTH

5. ALLAH DOE NOT AWARD HIM FOR ANY GOOD DEEDS HE/SHE DOES ( NO THAWAB)

6. FINALLY HE WILL NOT BE INCLUDED THE DUA'S OF GOOD PEOPLE

THE 3 PUSNISHMENT WHILE DYING:

1. HE DiES HUMILIATED

2. HE DiES HUNGRY

3.HE DiES THIRSTY, EVEN IF HE DRINKS THE WATERS OF ALL THE SEAS HE WILL STILL BE THIRSTY

THE 3 PUNISHMENTS IN THE GRAVE:

1. ALAHU TA'ALA TIGHTENS HIS GRAVE UNTIL HIS CHEST RIBS CROSS EACH OTHERS

2. ALLAH PORS ON HIM FIRE WITH EMBERS

3. ALLAH SETS ON HIM A SNAKE CALLED "THE BRAVE". "THE BOLD" WHICH HITS HIM FROM MORNING UNTILL AFTERNOON FOR LEAVING FAJR PRAYER, FROM THE AFTERNOON UNTILL ASR FOR LEAVING DHUHR PRAYER AND SO ON. WITH EACH STRIKE HE SINKS 70 YARDS UNDER THE GROUND

THE 3 PUNISHMENT ON THE DAY OF THE JUDGEMENT

1. ALLAH SENDS WHO WILL ACOMPANY HIM TO HELL PULLING HIM ON THE FACE

2. ALLAH GIVES HIM AN ANGARY LOOK THAT MAKES THE FLESH OF HIS FACE FALL DOWN

3. ALLAH JUDGES HIM STRICTLY AND ORDERS HIM TO BE THROWN IN HELL FIRE

* THOSE WHO DO NOT SAY THEIR PRAYERS OF

FAJAR: THE GLOW OF THEIR FACES IS TAKEN AWAY.

DHUHR: THE BLESSING OF THEIR INCOME IS TAKEN AWAY 

ASAR: THE STRENGH OF THEIR BODY IS TAKEN AWAY

MAGRIB: THEY ARE NOT BENEFACTED BY THEIR CHILDREN

ISHA: THE PEACE OF THEIR SLEEP IS TAKEN AWAY

 THE HOLLY QURAN "SAY YOUR PRAYERS BEFORE PRAYERS FOR YOU ARE SAID"

*  BROTHERS AND SISTER,FOR THOSE  OF YOU WHO CAN'T REMEMBER THE LAST TIME YOU MADE SUJUD TO ALLAH SUBHAN WATA'ALA, HOPE YOU DON'T TAKE THIS LIGHTLY. FOR THOSE OF YOU WHO DO PRAY FOR THE SAKE OF ALLAH, MAY ALLAH ACCEPT IT FROM YOU
