I am an environmental activist, at heart at least. I haven't paid the members' fee for ages nor do I have time to chain myself to trees ( I do hug trees though, on good days). Still though, environment is a priority for me. This Earth has been trusted to us by the Almighty, and it is a breach on our pact with Allah to mess it up.

What else? I love tea. Well, like any other Somali, I suppose. Half my allowance goes to the local tea boutique, white and green teas are amazing.

I'm an eternal student, I love studying for the sake of studying, and my interests range from quantum mechanics (don't get confused now, I love physics, but I suck at it) and chemistry (the love of my life) to history, literature and generally all liberal arts. A buddy introduced me to art, and I've been head over heels for contemproray art (especially stuckism)

Ever since I was two years old, I have studied Islam. Starting with the alif-baa-taa, and when my mother realised she didn't have enough knowledge to teach me more, she introduced me to amazing shuyukh and dugsi (Qur'aan School). I hope I continue with this path, not only to benefit myself but also to reward my mother for her efforts. She is an amazing person.
